For all of you on-the-go, Pantone color-lovers out there, check out these new ways you can add a little more color to your life, especially while traveling!

Because of Pantone’s new app, I now want an iPod Touch (or iPhone) more than ever. Pantone released an app called myPANTONE which makes the world of color even more accessible anywhere you are. Inspiration can strike at any moment, and it’s not the most efficient to carry around a big color matching book so this app was created to help you keep up the creative flow, even on the go.

It gives you the power to:

  • Create color palettes and take them with you
  • Take photos and extract colors from it
  • Generate compatible color combinations, automatically
  • Share your color palettes through email, import them into design programs and upload them to myPANTONE.com palette sharing web site
  • Along with a few other fun features. Now, if I only had an iPod Touch on which to download the application.
  • And if merely color matching on your iPhone isn’t enough, you can pick up a PANTONE messenger bag, luggage tag or passport wallet!

What better way to express your love of color and at the same time, identify your baggage with a brightly colored luggage tag in the form of an oversized PANTONE color sample? I’ve had my eye on the PANTONE Green 18-5633 TPX Messenger Bag (is that coated or uncoated? ha) and would definitely show off my passport wallet to the gate agent (Oh look! My new blue passport wallet matches the Netherland’s entry stamp perfectly!).

I originally discovered the Pantone travel gear through www.flight001.com, but you can find it elsewhere online if you search Pantone Messenger Bag (or Passport Wallet, etc.).PANTONE Stool

And finally – While I’m on the subject of Pantone colors and shopping – check out these other great items to make your home, office and outfit POP! I especially like the yellow stools.
