I may or may not have a very big weakness for Anthropologie (the store). The clothes, home goods and beauty products are beautiful. The aesthetic is unique and inspiring. And their approach to store design is warm and inviting.

The company tells beautiful stories. Through your shopping experience via catalog, online or in-store, you walk away inspired, and maybe with a slightly lighter wallet. And now they’ve invited us all in for an even more intimate tale.

Anthropologie has partnered with the Sundance Channel to take us along on Keith Johnson’s (Buyer-at-Large for Anthropologie ) buying excursions throughout the world. We get to see the back story of where the things we drool over at the stores came from in the series, Man Shops Globe.

Keith truly has the best job in the world (and he admits it). I want to be his side-kick and roam the four corners of the globe looking for the nextKeith Johnson talking with Becky Oldfield in her studio in the U.K. on Flee Fly Flown beautiful and awe-inspiring pieces that will re-invent the next season at Anthropologie. He really gets to escape into the creative.

I’ve watched a few of the episodes and have been transported to India, the U.K. and Tunisia to be inspired not only by the beautiful places Keith visits, but also by the artisans he works with and the items he brings back for the store.

Take a look at his inspiration (and Keith, take me with you)!

Check out the show – on Wednesday nights on the Sundance Channel at 10pm E/P or sample the show with a few mini webisodes on the Sundance Channel’s website.

But Keith, seriously, anytime you want to take me along, I’d be happy to help in anyway!

*Sigh*
